Lucky Number 6

Adele is a phenomenal musical icon that finds a balance between modesty and brilliance through her work of art.

Her album, 19, was the beginning of her success as an artist and her latest album, 21, brought this humble artist 6 Grammy’s. (You heard me: 6 Grammy’s)

In the Hip Hop and R&B World there is only one woman to ever win 6 Grammy’s off of one album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

This woman demonstrated class and attacked issues that were present in the streets of the boys and girls who would hear her music.

Her honesty, modesty and bravery also earned her 6 Grammy’s.

What Is Real?

This movie starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel is a movie that I enjoyed from beginning to end.

There is something missing out of the main character, Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) life that he wants to restore. He doesn’t know what’s missing, but he is determined to figure it out.

As he embarks on this journey he finds that the life he is living isn’t the life he is suppose to be living. (Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it for you)

Breaking Dawn: Part 2

The fifth Twilight movie is Premiering Tonight and I cannot wait. I am a new Twilight Fan, but nonetheless STILL A FAN!

I am excited to hear about the ticket sales and to see the direction this Love story decides to go. The action and fantasy in this movie makes it difficult for me not to enjoy watching.

“Will Bella and Edward live Happily ever after?” We will gain more information if you see the movie in film soon.

“It’s the most anticipated movie going event of the season,” said Paul Yanover, President of Fandango.

Dave Matthews Band

Dave Matthews is a singer, song writer who is known for his amazing sold out concerts. He is a talented musician and an occasional actor. Watch Him in a clip from the movie, “Just Go With It”

Despite His Talents as an actor and a musician, Dave Matthews made a huge contribution to the Bama Works Sandy Relief Fund this past week.

His Band Donated 1 Million Dollars (this was not a typo) to those who are suffering right now in the New York area.

Listen to some of his music @ http://davematthewsband.com/

It is nice to know that those who have millions can still remember to protect those who aren’t as fortunate.

Well Done Dave Matthews Band!

Drizzy Finally Did It…

The 26 Year Old Rapper “Drake” Graduated from High School last week after dropping out at the age of 15 to pursue an acting job on the Canadian Hit show Degrassi:The Next Generation.

Drake started from “Humble Beginnings” as a small time rapper in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is now a Hip Hop icon that is known all around the world.

“He’s the guy who put Toronto on the map.”

Everyone knows the city Toronto because Drizzy “Drake” Rogers pays Homage to the city who molded him into the man he is today.

He FINALLY did it…. GRADUATION.

Many people don’t graduate from High School but Drizzy made it a priority!

WORDS OF WISDOM….

“Sometimes it’s about going there, not getting there. Sometimes it’s the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination. And sometimes when you get there, you’ll look back and you’ll realize that you wish you could go there again because all of the experiences you went through are the reason that you are who you are today.” -DRAKE

All of these women are influential in some way to young girls in America.
I think this event was beneficial and had a great impact on young woman who need guidance now more than ever before…

I personally enjoyed Alicia Keys and India Aries performances.

(Who Knew India knew how to play the flute)

2PEAT!

Can LeBron James and the Miami Heat Do It Again?

Some said he would never win a ring, but now that he has…. Can he do it again?

http://www.nba.com/video/channels/top_plays/2012/10/30/20121030-dotn.nba/index.html

He looked pretty solid Tuesday Night against the Boston Celtics. (Acclaimed to be their toughest competition in the Eastern Conference)

The Heat beat the Celtics in a comfortable 120-107 lead without LeBron playing for the last six minutes of the 4th quarter. They closed the game without their leader?

This team might have what it takes to win another championship!

He Might just add another ring to his other finger in a couple of months…..

ONLY TIME WILL TELL!
